To gain the most from the speaker, a degree of preparation needs to be undertaken so that both you feel you are getting value for money and the speaker knows what will be expected of them. Bilingual Picture Book

It is with great pleasure that Show & Tell announces it is now the distributor for "Zorro: the Adventures of an Australian Terrier" by Ekaterini Mpaloukas, illustrated by Christos Avramoudas. This is an English Greek bilingual picture book, following the adventures of Australian Terrier Zorro as he transforms from neighbourhood vagabond to national hero. New Show & Tell Promotions Office

Kidz Book Club

Show & Tell Promotions is proud to be supporting Phil Kettle and Purple Kaos P/L in the delivery of Kidz Book Club to schools, libraries and children across Australia.

Each episode is a READING GUIDE hosted by Phil. In each, students review books and share valuable reading insights that will motivate children of diverse backgrounds and varied reading levels to become active readers. This is a show where kids ask the questions and provide reading guidance. It has a strong focus on young people enjoying and celebrating children's literature.

Three prominent guest authors / illustrators and an array of great new reading options are profiled in each episode. Be it library 'friendly' segments, visiting animals, book facts or an introduction to stories and themes that have actually been cherished by many for decades, this visual educational READING GUIDE has much to offer Primary School students.

FREE Teachers' Notes linked to each episode are also available from the website once you have registered on-line with KIDZ BOOK CLUB at www.kidzbookclub.com.au. You can support our children’s literature scene by visiting the website and subscribing to the project.

Show & Tell Promotions is a booking agency for speakers and presenters working in the broad field of children's literature and media.

It had its beginnings in 1984 in the Michael Connor Literary Agency. In addition to his agency work, Michael saw a need to coordinate and pay the authors who visited schools and other literary events. As the agency grew, Michael enlisted the help of author and friend Beryl Shaw in its running.

On moving to Sydney in 1986/1987, Michael sold his agency to Melbourne specialist children's bookseller, Albert Ullin. On a suggestion from Judith Crabtree, Albert renamed the agency Show & Tell Promotions and illustrator Ann James generously developed the happy Show & Tell logo.

Now under the care of Bronwen Bennett, Show and Tell has successfully represented authors, illustrators, storytellers, poets and literary consultants as speakers at schools, libraries, conferences and festivals.
