Heather Gall
Heather Gall is an accomplished Children's Book Illustrator and Visual Artist She has illustrated children's books written by Jill Morris, Greater Glider Productions, specialising in environmental publishing, beautiful yet educational books for children. Heather is influenced by the environment having grown up in the bush of South West Qld and now lives at Maleny on the family dairy farm.
Heather has achieved a large body of works over the years, particularly in landscape and wildlife. Her wildlife characters are definitely "Animals with Attitude", capturing the essence of our Australian wildlife. She has recently completed a Visual Arts Diploma and has been exploring the random harmony that occurs in the design, texture and colour of the natural world and living matter. She is also interested in the musicality of the landscape and has been exploring the concept of "Musical and Environmental Synesthesia".
Heather has worked with many school groups of all ages as well as adult learners, with experience at many schools, writer's festivals, Book Farm and of course with Show and Tell. Heather was just wonderful! The students really enjoyed the sessions and there were some amazing artworks resulting from the workshop. Heather was very professional in her presentation and a pleasure to work with.
