Peter Buckley

Since leaving radio in 2003, Peter has worked with some of Australia's top corporate entities in areas such as MC, guest speaker, voice artist and presentation skills and media skills trainer.

As the former News Director for FM104/MMM and former Assistant New Director of B105, Peter has written thousands of news stories and articles on a diverse range of issues such as health, finance, lifestyle, politics, entertainment and sport. He has also written scripts for corporate videos.

Being in the entertainment industry has allowed him to compere / host events ranging from corporate and retail functions through to fashion parades, presentation nights and celebrity auctions. His time in radio has given him the opportunity to interview, talk and associate with actors, athletes, business people, church and community leaders, developers, entertainers, governments, industry leaders, Premiers, paupers, superstars and WW1 veterans.

Peter has been a facilitator for many conferences and events including the Cerebral Palsy League Awards, Vice Regal functions for St. Columban's College and The International Biology Olympiad at the University of Queensland. As an energetic speaker on "Focus under Fire" or "Communication", Peter can kick start an event, recharge it midway or finish it with a high. He is a regular Corporate Trainer in presentation skills and media skills with clients including Powerlink, CSIRO, the Child Support Agency and the Queensland Academy of Sport Elite Athletes.

Being "on camera" comes naturally which means Peter is used as a presenter on many corporate videos. And he backs all this up with the ability to deliver a line like it should be with his voice heard on many TV and radio commercials, corporate videos and book narrations.
