Kim Dale
Best selling author/illustrator, Kim Dale, is a wildlife carer and passionate champion of Australian wildlife.
Her popular picture books include, What Am I (short-listed for the Wilderness Society Environment Award for Children’s Literature), Eyes In The Dark (short-listed CBCA Awards), Bush Babies (short-listed CBCA Awards), Little Tawny, and most recently, Moon Bear Rescue.
In her school visits, Kim combines her passion for the environment and her love of drawing with her performance background, which enables her to engage audiences of all ages and share her vision for a world where people, animals and the landscape live in harmony.
Accompanied by her duck Max, Kim can share with listeners how she tackles the creative process of writing and illustrating such engaging books, lead illustration workshops for older students or with her environmentalist hat on, she can talk about her experience in wildlife and environment care.
