June Loves
June Loves is a successful author of over fifty books - junior novels and information books, including The Macmillan Illustrated Encyclopedia and accompanying educational resources.
June is a former teacher librarian and library consultant. Her writing began when she left teaching and her publications include the award winning The Green Database, a software package and numerous non fiction titles including the Australians at Work series.
Her series Discovering Antarctica was shortlisted for the Excellence in Educational Publishing Award and her junior novel, My Guardian Angel was recognized by the Children's Book Council of Australia as a Notable Australian Children's Book.
One Slow Saturday With My Grandmother . . . completes her Grandmother trilogy and a new series called Flight is on the drawing board.
With co author Judi Champion, June writes support curriculum material for teachers and happily will conduct workshops in creative writing in both schools and libraries.
