Pauline Luke
Pauline Luke was raised in Bendigo although she lived for several years in Canada before returning, with her family, to live in Melbourne.
After graduating from Monash University with a double major in English Literature and General and Comparative Literature, she then moved to RMIT where she studied Professional and Creative Writing.
Pauline's first YA novel, Amber Pash on Pink (UQP 2004) won the Australian Family Therapists' Award for Children's Literature for Older Readers. This was followed by Bronco, Fi, Maddie and Me (UQP 2007), which was published in March 2007.
Her previous titles include A Bag of Laughs (Brolga Publishing 2000) and A Sack of Giggles (Brolga Publishing 2002).
With an ability to draw strong characters and present a genuine teenage voice, Pauline can comfortably present both author talks and workshops for students from upper primary through to secondary.
