Sally Learey
Sally Learey is an author, teacher, educator and speaker with 15 years teaching experience across many facets of education. many facets of education. Sally lives in Geelong with her husband, 3 children and dog Lilly. She currently delivers an RACV Traffic Safety Education Program throughout schools in the Barwon South Western Region of Victoria.
Sally is the author of 4 children's picture books. "Food for Me is Gluten Free" and "Food for Me must be Nut Free" discuss living successfully with food allergies through the eyes of a child. Symptoms, treatment, management strategies, health promotion and happiness are discussed in an educating and entertaining way. Positivity is a key theme throughout. The stories are illustrated in vibrant watercolour utilising the elements of simplicity, charm and humour to engage the reader.
Sally's other two books are location based stories. "Louttit Bay Treasure" explores the beautiful Victorian coastal town of Lorne, whilst "Corio Bay Kingdom" takes the reader on a magical journey around Geelong and beyond. Underlying both stories are the values of experience, connectedness, and community.
