Anna Ciddor
Readers will be familiar with Anna as the author of more than 45 non fiction books, including Unplugged: the Bare Facts on Toilets through the Ages, Take Me Back, the Look Back books and several series for Macmillan Education, including Through Children's Eyes and Australia in the Twentieth Century.
For parents travelling with children, Anna's Have Kids, Will Travel provided everything they needed to know about travelling with kids, packed with inspiring ideas and sound, practical advice.
With the release of Runestone in 2002, she made her debut as a writer of popular fiction. It was the first book in the Viking Magic series, quickly followed by Wolfspell (2003) and Stormriders (2004).
Anna is now working on a series set in Ancient Ireland.
Dressed in Viking costume, Anna's visit highlights the secrets behind the making of the Viking Magic series and the importance of research when writing fiction.
