Show and Tell Promotions is a Booking Agency for speakers working in the broad field of children's literature.

Show and Tell in Western Australia is managed by Jan Kaye and was successfully launched at The Bookcaffe on Monday 14th May 2007.

Jan established the All Saints' Literature Festival and was its inaugural director, heading the 2002, 2003 and 2004 Festivals and achieving over 12,000 ticket sales in her final year. Jan is passionate about bringing schoolchildren together with authors, illustrators and poets because she has seen the positive influences such experiences can have on a child's life. One of the defining moments of Jan's time as Festival director came when a student told her that the author he had just heard had indeed changed his life. His parents had recently separated acrimoniously and, as a result, he had been seriously contemplating suicide until he listened to the author speak about overcoming her battle against suicide.

Jan is a teacher librarian with many years' experience in the independent and government school sector. She has also lectured in Library & Information Studies, was a founding partner in a company that provided information services to government and to the corporate sector, and is a consultant to schools in the area of equal opportunity in the workplace policy.
